Introduction to the Natural World
Our Forest Kindergarten program offers an introduction of the natural world to young learners. This may be the first experience for some children being in nature away from their parents and our experienced Guides have a deep respect for this.
Learn About Nature, Eat, and “Water & Fertilize Trees”
Our Guides have created a program that will both nature and challenge these young explorers. They will learn about nature, eat, play, “water and fertilize” trees, and carry everything they need for the day in their backpacks – rain, snow, and sun.
Loosely Structured Day – Love & Respect Nature
Our days are loosely structured to allow space for the learners’ curiosity and interest to lead. They will learn to work together, hike, develop a love & respect for nature, and complete challenges.
Mix of Children
Learners will be a mix of children from the community who are home/homeschooled, attend public school, attend Acton Academy, or attend another private school.
